Michelangelo and Florence In Florence there is a plaque commemorating him and his family in Via dell’Anguillara, in the house that belonged to his family. There is in Via Ghibellina a Casa Buonarotti, a so-called “casa-museo”, a museum in the house that had been bought by a later Buonarotti, who, having no heirs, decided to leave it to Florence. |
